Domino SEA Chillers (53-129kw)

The Domino SEA is a commercial three phase chiller from Thermocold, a leading Italian manufacturer of chillers and heat pumps. Thermocold is a division of Trane Technologies.

The Domino SEA can deliver chilled water from -7°C to 18°C and is available in cooling capacities from 53kW up to 129kW.  They may be cascaded to provide larger capacities.  They are ideal for many commercial cooling applications.

The Domino SEA is designed in accordance with the latest 2021 Ecodesign ENER lot 21 regulations.  It utilises two scroll compressors in a single circuit.  Special heat exchanger design with low refrigerant Δt offers very high efficiency.

EC axial fans are coupled with condensing pressure control and variable fan speed modulation, which offers low noise operation.  Differential pressure switch and antifreeze protection electric heater are included as well as a RS485 communication card.

An inverter controlled hydraulic pump module may be specified at time of order which provides increased comfort in the building using constant pressure operation.

The chiller specification may be altered at time of order.  It is normal to include a hydraulic (pump) module, overvoltage / undervoltage / phase protection, automatic circuit breakers.  A flow switch and rubber anti-vibration mounts are also usually specified.

A wide range of options and accessories are available.  These must be chosen at time of order and will be factory installed.  These include: 

• Soft start
• Power factor correction
• A range of enhanced fin coatings for additional protection in harsh environments such as coastal installations
• BacNET or Modbus LonTalk
  
• Axitop fan diffusers
• Remote control display
