Värmebaronen Biomax Dual-Fuel Wood Pellet / Log boiler (20kW) - Clearance
The BIOMAX Dual Fuel wood boiler is the ultimate in wood heating technology. It gives you the freedom to choose the fuel you wish to burn. If a ready supply of dry firewood is available then you can avail of excellent low-cost heating. Alternatively, the comfort and easy availability of wood pellets gives you the option to use a readily available, secure fuel source instead.
The BIOMAX boiler is equipped with two combustion chambers. When burning firewood, a seperate large buffer cylinder is required to store the heat. The boiler burns the firewood you load for approximately 2-3 hours and places the extracted heat into the buffer cylinder. This heat can then be used to run radiators or underfloor as required throughout the day.
The firewood chamber comprises a downward firing wood gasification boiler with an output of 20kW. It is also fitted with a flue fan which allows the use of low and narrow chimneys or flues.
When burning pellets, the BIOMAX acts like a standard pellet boiler and is controlled by a mechanical thermostat. It is fitted with the superb VIKING BIO pellet burner which provides stable, safe and economic combustion of the pellets. In this mode, the BIOMAX can provide heating on-demand and has an output of 20kW.
The boiler is designed to be easily installed in a garage or boiler room.
